HOW TO TAKE CARE OF FEATHERED FEET
If your chicken has feathered feet here some things you need to know
Feathered feet require more caring than normal ones. They get dirty easier and the can hide parasites.
Here some important stuff:
That your feathered feet pets don`t spend too much time in wet soil (or mud) and water
Be sure that their feet are dry before they go ti bed
Keep the sleeping area well cleaned (especially in summer and every season change)
Check the condition of their feet every month to see if they need a treatment with zolfo or olive oil
Every change of season treat their feet with zolfo (see the description of the treatment below)
When needed do the once a week care with olive oil for 4 weeks (see the description of the treatment below)

OLIVE OIL TREATMENT
To heal hurt feet by parasites
Sometimes keeping the sleeping area cleaned and doing the zolfo treatment every change of season is not enough to prevent the parasites bites (such as acari bites)
When this happens you need to do a healing treatment with olive oil.
It is pain free and very easy to do 😊
Prepare a bowl with olive oil (enough to immerge the all feet in it)
Immerge your chicken`s o rooster`s feet in it for about 10 seconds (be sure that the all feet are covered in oil)
Repeat the process once a week for 4 weeks
ZOLFO TREATMENT
Seasonal Treatment
Every change of season apply on your chickens with feathered fee, a mixture of honey and zolfo using an old toothbrush
Prepare the mixture adding a spoon of honey and one of zolfo and mix it until you obtain a paste soft and sticky to apply on the feet.
